Birth of Italicus

Description

When looking at the bottle of Italicus, the first thing that comes to mind is strong Italian imagery. The shape of the bottle combines the classical pillars with the soft oceanic colour palette; of pastel green, blue and golds. All of this brought to mind paintings of antiquity and specifically: “The birth of Venus” by the Italian painter, Sandro Botticelli. The goddess herself, represents beauty, desire and prosperity. Each of these aspects reflected qualities I see in Italicus as a drink, and a brand. The illustrative elements of the botanical flavourings, frame the figure and the bottle.
